Gifts for the Homebody
Thoughtful picks for cosy, home-loving souls. These are the type who choose to host at home rather than head out, to pull up a blanket with hot chocolate and enjoy a movie in rather than hit it up on the town. If that’s them, then read on!

La MAISON INONDÉE | Green Bowl | Patrick Martinez | MoMA - How gorgeous is this handpainted bowl? I’d be giddy to receive such a wonderful crafted piece that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I’d quickly nab this and fill it with snacks before serving Christmas Lunch. Bonus, they are dishwasher safe and some are stackable!
2. Far and Away dinner plate set - Now is this a gift for them or for you? Because this one is perfect for both. I’ve been looking for a set of dinner plates that look gorgeous as a complete set but also don’t break the bank, so I don’t stress out if one accidentally breaks in the sink. Even better, these are sourced in Portugal from a family-own factory, using locally sourced and recycled clay. Bonus - one tree is planted for every £50 spent, so with the set, you also contribute to a more sustainable purchase! They come in five beautiful colours, but nothing says classic than Ivory!
3. Ichendorf Milano Squirrel Tumbler 35cl - This precious-looking glass is practical as well as gorgeous. The hand-blown squirrel enlarges and comes to life when water is poured inside. Surprisingly this is dishwasher safe, but only at low temperatures. I’m not sure I’d risk it though!
4. Retro popcorn machine - This one is definitely for my family - they love a movie night, and this cute popcorn machine looks the part. Making popcorn is much healthier and better when made fresh, and this particular machine is similar to an air fryer, where it circulates hot air and doesn’t require oil or fat inside. Bonus - this machine makes one large bowl so you don’t need to keep remaking batches.
5. Billy Tannery Apron - Whether you are a professional chef or someone who loves to cook, these aprons are the most gorgeous apron out there and made sustainably in the UK made from sustainable goat or deer leather. I’ve been supporting this brand for years and absolutely love the quality and long-lasting craftsmanship, that I even volunteered to model in the kitchen (yes thats me in the picture at my London pop-up!), so it’s completely worth the price tag.
